Hello RethymnoHello RethymnoThe Municipal Choir of Rethymno (Δημοτική Χορωδία Ρεθύμνου), a four-part mixed choir founded in 1993 and directed by Isidora Chalkiadaki, rehearses on Wednesdays from 20:00 to 22:00 and welcomes new singers, with female auditions held each September and male voices accepted year-round. Other active groups include the EURYTHMY Chorus (founded 2022), the University of Crete Chorus, and the choir of the Association of Asia Minor Refugees. Reading music is not required to join the municipal choir, so it is a friendly entry point for newcomers who want to meet people through singing. Η Δημοτική Χορωδία Ρεθύμνου, μια τετράφωνη μικτή χορωδία που ιδρύθηκε το 1993 με διευθύντρια την Ισιδώρα Χαλκιαδάκη, κάνει πρόβες κάθε Τετάρτη 20:00 με 22:00 και δέχεται νέα μέλη, με ακροάσεις γυναικείων φωνών κάθε Σεπτέμβριο και ανδρικές φωνές όλο τον χρόνο. Άλλα ενεργά σχήματα είναι η Μικτή Χορωδία ΕυΡΙΘΥ Chorus (ίδρυση 2022), η Χορωδία του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης και η χορωδία του Συλλόγου Μικρασιατών. Δεν χρειάζεται γνώση μουσικής για να μπείτε στη δημοτική χορωδία, οπότε είναι ένας φιλικός τρόπος να γνωρίσετε κόσμο μέσα από το τραγούδι.
