The Rethymno DOY is at Stamathioudaki 8 in the city centre, reachable on the main switchboard line and by email at doy.rethymnou@aade.gr. Most routine tasks, including filing returns and getting an AFM, are now done online through myAADE on aade.gr or via a KEP, but the office handles in person cases by appointment. Public hours follow the standard civil service schedule, weekdays in the morning.
Η ΔΟΥ (Δημόσια Οικονομική Υπηρεσία) είναι το τοπικό παράρτημα της ΑΑΔΕ και διαχειρίζεται τον ΑΦΜ, τις μεταβολές μητρώου, τον ΦΠΑ και τη φορολογία εισοδήματος. Η ΔΟΥ Ρεθύμνου βρίσκεται στη Σταμαθιουδάκη 8 στο κέντρο της πόλης, με επικοινωνία στο τηλεφωνικό κέντρο και στο email doy.rethymnou@aade.gr. Οι περισσότερες υποθέσεις, όπως οι δηλώσεις και η έκδοση ΑΦΜ, γίνονται πλέον ηλεκτρονικά μέσω του myAADE στο aade.gr ή μέσω ΚΕΠ, ενώ οι υποθέσεις με φυσική παρουσία γίνονται κατόπιν ραντεβού. Το ωράριο κοινού ακολουθεί το σύνηθες πρόγραμμα δημοσίου, πρωινές ώρες καθημερινά.
