Hello RethymnoHello RethymnoLigres is a remote, unorganised beach of coarse sand and deep clear water on the far southwest coast of the Rethymno district, about 51 km south of Rethymno town and 7 km below the village of Kerames, at the foot of Mount Siderotas. Access is on a rough road, which keeps crowds away and makes it one of the most peaceful beaches in the area. There are no sunbeds, so bring shade, water and supplies, though a couple of fish tavernas and rooms operate nearby in season. At the western end a small stream and waterfall run into the sea.
Οι Λίγκρες είναι μια απομακρυσμένη, μη οργανωμένη παραλία με χοντρή άμμο και βαθιά καθαρά νερά στα νοτιοδυτικά του νομού Ρεθύμνου, περίπου 51 χλμ. νότια της πόλης του Ρεθύμνου και 7 χλμ. κάτω από το χωριό Κεραμές, στους πρόποδες του όρους Σιδέρωτας. Η πρόσβαση γίνεται από δύσκολο δρόμο, γι' αυτό παραμένει ήσυχη και από τις πιο ατμοσφαιρικές της περιοχής. Δεν υπάρχουν ομπρέλες, οπότε φέρτε σκίαση, νερό και τρόφιμα, αν και την καλοκαιρινή σεζόν λειτουργούν κοντά λίγες ψαροταβέρνες και δωμάτια. Στο δυτικό άκρο ένα μικρό ρυάκι με καταρράκτη χύνεται στη θάλασσα.
