Paleologou, Arabadzoglou and Koroneou are good for souvenirs, local products and gifts, while Arkadiou (the main commercial street) and Kallergi carry clothing, shoes, accessories and jewellery from Greek designers and well-known brands. Koundouriotou and Gerakari sit in the new town's commercial area with department stores and more upscale boutiques. As a rule, the quieter old-town lanes hold the most independent and artisanal shops, while the wider streets carry the bigger brands.
