In winter much of the scene retreats into the Old Town, where the narrow lanes, rakadika, and a core of year-round bars keep going on the strength of locals and the student population. For winter nights aim for the Old Town and the old Venetian harbour rather than the beach strip, since many seasonal beachfront places close from roughly November to April. Reliable year-round spots include Chaplin's rock bar and Metropolis in the harbour, both of which stay open through the off season.
Το καλοκαίρι η δράση απλώνεται στον παραλιακό δρόμο και το μέτωπο της θάλασσας, με υπαίθρια μπαρ, πολύ κόσμο και μαγαζιά που μένουν ανοιχτά ως αργά, τροφοδοτούμενα από τους τουρίστες και τις ζεστές νύχτες. Τον χειμώνα η σκηνή μαζεύεται στην Παλιά Πόλη, όπου τα στενά σοκάκια, τα ρακάδικα και ένας πυρήνας μπαρ που λειτουργούν όλο τον χρόνο συνεχίζουν χάρη στους ντόπιους και τους φοιτητές. Για χειμερινές βραδιές προτιμήστε την Παλιά Πόλη και το παλιό ενετικό λιμάνι αντί για την παραλία, καθώς πολλά εποχικά παραλιακά μαγαζιά κλείνουν περίπου από Νοέμβριο έως Απρίλιο. Αξιόπιστα μαγαζιά όλο τον χρόνο είναι το Chaplin's rock bar και το Metropolis στο λιμάνι, που μένουν ανοιχτά και εκτός σεζόν.
