Heading west, Panormo's harbour has Porto Parasiris, a family seaside restaurant since 1983 with cocktails and sunset views over the bay. On the south coast, Plakias tavernas such as those along the seafront catch the light over the Libyan Sea. Book ahead in summer, as the sunset tables go first.
